While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

UNRWA: Gaza suffers severe shortage of hygiene supplies and soap is now scarce

Saturday 9-August-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has warned that residents of the Gaza Strip are facing a severe shortage of basic hygiene products, with soap now nearly impossible to find.

In a statement on the social media platform X, UNRWA noted that while millions of bars of soap are sold daily around the world and are easily accessible, in Gaza, under Israeli occupation’s ongoing genocide, such basic items have become scarce.

The agency stressed the urgent need for a consistent supply of hygiene essentials, including soap, shampoo, and sanitary pads. It added that large-scale delivery of these supplies to the most vulnerable in the Strip can only be ensured through the United Nations, including UNRWA’s operations.

Palestinian child killed by airdropped aid box in central Gaza

Saturday 9-August-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

A 14-year-old Palestinian boy was martyred on Saturday when an aid box dropped from an aircraft struck him in central Gaza, marking the fourth fatal incident linked to aerial aid deliveries in less than a week.

Medical sources said the victim, identified as Muhannad 'Eid, was hit in the Al-Nuwairi area west of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp. He was rushed to Al-'Awda Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Several others were injured, though the number remains unknown.

The latest tragedy comes amid a series of similar incidents since aerial drops began on July 16. Earlier Saturday, 20-year-old Adam Al-Sharbasi died from injuries sustained the previous day when a falling aid box hit him in Al-Yarmouk area of central Gaza City.

On Monday, nurse 'Uday Nahidh al-Qara’an, 33, was martyred when a box crashed onto his tent in Al-Zawayida, while on Wednesday, 11-year-old Sa'eed Kamal Abu Younus died in Khan Younus under similar circumstances.

The practice, carried out by several countries as Gaza suffers famine under the Israeli blockade, has drawn sharp criticism from Palestinian officials and aid groups, who call it dangerous and ineffective compared to land-based deliveries.

Gaza’s Interior Ministry said the “negative effects” of parachute drops, including fatalities and chaos, outweigh any benefits, accusing Israel of exploiting the method “as part of a policy of starvation and chaos.”

Since March 2, Israel has closed all crossings into Gaza, blocking humanitarian aid and intensifying famine conditions despite hundreds of relief trucks waiting at the border.

The World Food Program warns that a third of Gaza’s population has gone days without food, while the UN says hundreds of aid trucks a day are needed to reverse the crisis caused by the blockade and genocide.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, backed by the US, has waged a genocide in Gaza involving mass killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, defying international calls and International Court of Justice orders to stop.

The assault has killed or wounded 212,219 Palestinians, most of them children and women, left more than 9,000 missing, and driven hundreds of thousands out of their homes.

Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital warns of imminent disaster due to fuel shortage

Saturday 9-August-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital, located in the central Gaza Strip, has warned of an impending humanitarian and health disaster due to a severe shortage of diesel fuel, amid a sharp increase in the number of wounded and sick individuals.

In a statement on Friday, the hospital confirmed that the currently available amount of diesel is extremely limited and sufficient to operate the hospital for only a few hours.

The statement said, “If the hospital is not supplied immediately and urgently with the necessary diesel, it will go completely out of service, which means the shutdown of operating rooms, intensive care units, incubators, and ventilators.”

The hospital strongly condemned the policy of “drip-feeding diesel,” which is being applied to a facility that serves more than half a million citizens in the central governorate.

It held the relevant authorities fully responsible for the catastrophic consequences of any disruption to the hospital’s operations.

The hospital appealed to all concerned parties, humanitarian organizations, and human rights institutions to urgently and immediately intervene to provide diesel and ensure the continuity of health services.

Dozens of civilians massacred, injured in Israeli attacks in Gaza

Saturday 9-August-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army continued, last night and on Saturday, to carry out deadly attacks on different areas of the Gaza Strip, killing and injuring dozens of civilians.

According to local media sources, Israeli forces also continued today to detonate and bomb more homes and displace families in the Gaza Strip, further deepening the dire humanitarian crisis as the population grapples with worsening famine.

According to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip, including an Israeli airstrike on a tent that killed three civilians and injured others in Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younus.

Eleven Palestinians die due to starvation and acute malnutrition in Gaza

GAZA, August 9, 2025 (WAFA) –

Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced the deaths of eleven Palestinians in the past 24 hours due to starvation and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip.

This brings the total number of the starvation-related fatalities to 212, including 98 children.

The ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip continues to worsen, due to the blockade and shortages of food and medical supplies. The severe famine is intertwined with the genocidal war waged by Israel since October 7, 2023.

Since March 2, 2025, the occupying authorities have closed all crossings with the Gaza Strip, blocking the entry of most food and medical aid, further accelerating the spread of famine across the territory.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has warned that malnutrition among children under five doubled between March and June as a result of the ongoing blockade.

The World Health Organization confirmed that malnutrition rates in Gaza have reached alarming levels, with nearly one in five children under five in Gaza City suffering from acute malnutrition.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel, the occupying power, has been committing genocide in the Gaza Strip, including deliberate killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, in defiance of  international calls and orders from the International Court of Justice to halt it.

Civilians killed and injured in Israeli strikes on southern Gaza Strip

GAZA, August 9, 2025 (WAFA) –

Three civilians were killed on Saturday evening in Israeli airstrikes targeting Khan Younus city in the southern Gaza Strip.

Medical sources in the Strip reported that three civilians, including a woman, were killed and several others injured after an Israeli drone struck a tent sheltering displaced persons in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younus.

Israeli warplanes also bombed three residential buildings belonging to the Rajab, 'Hannouna, and Abu 'Aasi families in the 'Asqoola area of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in southern Gaza City.

The death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 61,639, the majority of whom were women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 152,850 others have also been injured.

This toll remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews.

The number of aid seekers who were killed and brought to hospitals in the past 24 hours has reached 21, with more than 341 others injured. This raises the total number of aid seekers killed while trying to secure basic necessities and brought to hospitals to 1,743, with over 12,590 injured, according to hospital records.

Saturday 9-August-2025

OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime (IOAR) forced on Friday two Palestinian citizens to demolish their own homes in the east Jerusalem areas of Sour Bahir and Silwan under the pretext of unlicensed construction.

According to local sources in Silwan, the Israeli municipality forced Mu'hammed Samreen to demolish his own home he had built as an annex to his father’s house in 2018.

Samreen, who lived in the house with his wife and kid, said that the municipality threatened to make him pay more than 70,000 shekels if he refused to carry out the demolition himself.

Illegal Israeli settlers violations, attacks reported in different West Bank areas

Saturday 9-August-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Several Palestinian areas witnessed a wave of the illegal Israeli settlers  attacks today, Saturday, targeting Palestinian farmers and property in the occupied West Bank as part of systematic Israeli efforts to displace the local residents and expand settlements.

In Bethlehem, a horde of extremist Jewish settlers assaulted Palestinian farmers as they were working on a swath of agricultural land belonging to Na'eem Al-Radhi, in the Khilet El-'Nahla area of Wadi Ra'h-'hal village.

Three farmers were reportedly injured in the settler attack.

In the northern Jordan Valley, another group of armed settlers stormed Khirbet Samra hamlet and walked menacingly near its tents, which caused panic among the local residents, especially children and women.

Other settlers stormed Shallal El-'Auja village in northern Jericho and grazed their livestock near the residents’ homes in an attempt to damage their crops and property.

In Jenin, settlers used bulldozers to uproot several olive trees in a grove owned by a Palestinian citizen in Mas'oud village as a prelude to building a road leading to their herding outpost, which they had established in 2019.

Last week, Israeli bulldozers started wreaking havoc on olive groves in the same area belonging to Palestinians from the villages of Zibda and Mas'oud.

JORDAN VALLEY, August 9, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers  today attacked a water spring in the northern Jordan Valley and prevented Palestinian citizens from watering their livestock.

Local sources said that a group of colonists assaulted Al-'Himma spring area and barred citizens from watering their cattle.

The same colonists also dumped dead dogs and cats near citizens’ tents in the area.

Such ongoing attacks by colonists in the northern Jordan Valley come as part of a policy aimed at forcing Palestinian citizens to leave their homes and abandon the area.

Illegal Israeli settlers uproot olive trees southeast of Jineen

Jineen, August 9, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers  Saturday evening uprooted olive trees belonging to Palestinian residents in Khirbet Mas'oud village, southwest of Jineen, according to local sources.

Sources reported that Israeli bulldozers uprooted several olive trees in Khirbet Mas'oud to pave colonial roads leading to an illegal colonial outpost established in the area since 2019.

Last week, the occupation bulldozers began leveling lands and uprooting olive trees owned by citizens from Zibda and Khirbet Mas'oud areas, after the occupation army marked the olive groves with orange paint, despite the owners holding official ownership documents.

Khirbet Mas'oud belongs to the Zibda Village Council and consists of three communities inhabited by approximately 350 people.

The occupation continues to level areas adjacent to the illegal colonial outpost established on the mountain, seizing dozens of dunums of agricultural land.

Illegal Israeli settlers carry out attacks in Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), northern Jordan Valley

Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), August 9, 2025 (WAFA) -

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers Friday night assaulted a number of Palestinian farmers while they were working on their land in the Khallet El-Na'hla area of Wadi Ra'h-'hal village, south of Bethlehem, according to security sources.

The illegal Israeli settlers physically attacked the farmers, injuring at least four people with various cuts and bruises throughout their bodies.

The Khallet El-Na'hla area has been subjected to repeated assaults by the illegal Israeli settlers over the years as part of efforts to seize more agricultural land for the benefit of colonial settlement expansion.

Meanwhile, in the Northern Jordan Valley, the illegal Israeli settlers stormed the Khirbet Samra community, causing fear among residents, especially among women and children. The area experiences daily raids by armed colonists as part of an ongoing pressure strategy aimed at forcing Palestinians to leave their homes, in line with the Israeli plan to empty the Jordan Valley of its Palestinian population.

RAMALLAH, August 9, 2025 (WAFA) –

A group of the illegal Israeli settlers , under the protection of Israeli forces, attacked the village of Rammoun east of Ramallah on Saturday evening, according to a local official.

The head of the village council, Ibraheem El-Khateeb, told WAFA that a group of colonists, backed by Israeli soldiers, attacked the northwestern part of the village, opening fire on citizens and their homes, however, no injuries were reported.

The illegal Israeli settlers also set fire to agricultural lands surrounding the homes of residents, while the occupation forces raided the area to protect the colonists, firing stun grenades, which intensified the fires and caused material damage to the lands.

Earlier,  the illegal Israeli settlers attacked a Bedouin community in 'Ain Ayoub area, west of Ramallah, as well as families in the Arab El-Ka'abna Bedouin community, northeast of the city.

Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights said in a statement that colonists attacked a Bedouin community and burned their tents in the 'Ain Ayoub area, causing extensive property damage.

In another statement, the group reported that colonists attacked families in the Arab El-Ka'abna Bedouin community northeast of Ramallah, forcibly ordering residents to leave their homes and lands within two weeks.

According to a report by the Illegal Settlement and Wall Resistance Commission,  the illegal Israeli settlers carried out 466 attacks against Palestinian citizens and their property in the West Bank in July last year, resulting in the killing of four Palestinians and the forced displacement of two Bedouin communities comprising 50 families.

Illegal Israeli settlers escalate attacks in Jericho and Salfit, targeting homes, farmland, and vital resources

Saturday 9-August-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

Palestinian communities in the occupied West Bank faced fresh assaults by the illegal Israeli settlers  on Saturday, with incidents reported in both the Aree'ha (Jericho) and Salfeet governorates as part of what locals describe as a systematic campaign to displace them and expand settlements.

In the Shallal El-'Auja area north of Jericho, settler groups released livestock among Palestinian homes, a practice that residents say has intensified in recent weeks.

Locals reported that settlers have also targeted the community’s historic water spring, one of the Jordan Valley’s most important sources, posing a direct threat to the survival of its Bedouin population.

The area is among the most frequently targeted in the West Bank, where residents endure repeated incursions, demolition of homes, and destruction of property.

The Jordan Valley’s Bedouin communities, numbering more than 200 across the West Bank, have faced nearly 5,000 documented violations by Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) and settlers in less than two years since the genocide in Gaza began.

These include home demolitions, land seizures, crop destruction, and restrictions on access to water and electricity, measures residents say are designed to force them off their land.

Meanwhile, in the village of Farkha south of Salfeet, seven settlers, two of them armed, attacked Palestinian farmers tending their land in the Al-Saf'ha area.

Witnesses said the attackers fired live ammunition and cut down olive trees, before IOFs appeared and detained ten Palestinians instead of the assailants.

Residents say settlers frequently graze livestock on their farmland and launch repeated assaults to prevent them from cultivating it, paving the way for seizure and settlement expansion.

More than 250,000 demonstrators rally across Britain in historic protest against Gaza genocide

Saturday 9-August-2025

LONDON, (PIC)

In what has become the 30th national demonstration since October 2023, more than 250,000 people gathered across Britain on Saturday in a powerful show of solidarity with the people of Gaza. This protest marks the first major demonstration following Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s announcement of his intent to occupy the entire Gaza Strip, a move widely condemned as a declaration of further violence and repression.

The demonstrators united in firm rejection of Netanyahu’s plans and the ongoing brutal measures inflicted upon Gaza’s civilian population. They demanded that the UK government, led by Prime Minister Keir Starmer, take decisive and immediate action to halt this catastrophe. The protesters called on the government to stop the export of arms to Israel, end the genocide and starvation currently imposed on the people of Gaza, and prosecute Israeli leaders accused of war crimes.

Palestinian journalist and Gaza resident A'hmed Na'ouq addressed the crowd with a poignant message, painting a vivid picture of the reality inside Gaza:

“Tell them they are bewildered how life still exists outside Gaza, how the sun still rises, the stars still shine, the sea still moves with waves, because in Gaza, it seems life barely exists. They told me they are dying, starving, and tired. They no longer want to be called heroes or victims. They just want to live like normal human beings. They asked me to tell you: please don’t tire, continue the struggle. Hundreds die every day in Gaza, dying as they queue for food, inside tents, hospitals, mosques, and churches. Starved, bombed day and night for 21 months. Sir Keir Starmer is watching, sending spy flights, filming the carnage, and still sending weapons. Shame on him, shame on all killing people in Gaza. We need answers, why is Palestinian blood spillable? Why are our children killable? We have done everything: protested, taken legal action, but you haven’t listened. So who do you represent? The people who have been protesting for two years, begging you to stop aiding genocide? History is being written. Don’t be on the wrong side.”

Na'ouq’s words captured the deep exhaustion felt by Gaza’s population after enduring relentless bombardment, starvation, and severe restrictions on basic supplies and medical aid.

'Adnan 'Humidan, acting chairman of the PFB, echoed this urgent message. He warned against being misled by images showing small amounts of food entering Gaza, clarifying that these supplies are insufficient and inaccessible for many, especially vulnerable groups.

“Yes, small quantities of sugar and cheese have entered Gaza, but they come at extremely high prices, far beyond the reach of most families,” Hamidan said. “Children in Gaza have been without milk for six months. Patients with chronic illnesses like diabetes and hypertension have not received proper medication for months. This is unacceptable.”

He emphasized the frustration with government rhetoric and called for meaningful, practical steps, “We are tired of statements. We want these words to translate into real action. The UK government must stop supporting this ongoing genocide.”

The demonstration was not only a response to Netanyahu’s occupation plans but a culmination of decades of injustice and suffering faced by Palestinians. Since October 2023, Britain has seen a remarkable series of national protests advocating for Palestinian rights and demanding the UK government take a principled stance.

The sheer scale of Saturday’s protest underscored the growing awareness and solidarity within the British public. Protesters carried banners and chanted slogans demanding justice, an end to arms exports, and accountability for those responsible for the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

One key demand was for Sir Keir Starmer’s Labor government to break its silence and actively halt UK support for Israeli military actions, including the controversial arms trade. Many expressed frustration at what they see as the government’s failure to reflect the views of the tens of thousands taking to the streets.

The protest was peaceful but urgent, reflecting the desperation and determination of a community united against ongoing war crimes, starvation, and the siege of Gaza.

As the demonstration concluded, organizers and participants reiterated their commitment to sustained pressure on the UK government. They warned that protests will continue until concrete actions are taken to end the violence and alleviate the suffering of Gaza’s people.

This historic turnout sends a clear message: the UK public demands its government stop enabling genocide and stand firmly for human rights and international law. The eyes of the world remain fixed on Britain, awaiting whether it will rise to this critical challenge.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
